OUR TRADING POLICY
First; a little
information regarding our background may be of interest. Fengshui-Emporium was
born in December 2000, when our first web site was launched. It followed from
the seeds of awareness sown by a very good friend who just happened to be a Feng
Shui consultant. She had indicated the problems experienced in obtaining good
quality Feng Shui Cures and products. My husband and I, with years of business
experience behind us, began the search for those products.
In those early days we discovered some very interesting facts regarding the
prices being charged by retailers of Feng Shui products, particularly those
operating on the internet. Knowing that they were obtaining their supplies from
a limited number of wholesalers/importers - the very same ones we had ourselves
successfully identified - we were appalled at the huge profit margins on which
they were working.
We had a choice
when preparing our web site for publication:
1. To follow suit and launch our web site with similarly inflated prices
2. To offer the same quality products at FAIR AND REASONABLE PRICES
We chose the latter! No compromise on quality, and certainly no compromise on
service. That's how we have continued to operate. So please do not be fooled
into thinking that expensive means better!
THE FENG SHUI "EXPERTS" - something you should know
The study of Feng Shui demands many years of learning. It never ceases to
amaze us, therefore, of the increasing number of "experts" appearing on the
scene. Anyone can proclaim to be a Feng Shui Consultant, and, with this
self-awarded certification, charge exorbitant fees. We do not profess to be
consultants, although we do obviously have certain knowledge, collected over the
past few years. Basic questions we can answer (no charge!). We will not,
however, pretend to be qualified consultants.
If you are looking for a complete and professional consultancy service,
we will point you in the right direction. The consultants we recommend are all
accredited by the Feng Shui Society of Great Britain. If you are
approached by anyone who is not accredited - beware! Below is a link to the Feng
