A beautiful example of a
Dragon Boat, carrying seven Chinese Gods.
The figure is crafted to a very high standard from Faux Ivory (Resin)
From the tip of the dragon's nose, to the end of it's tail, this very
special craft measures 21cm (8.25 inches) long, and weighs approximately
1 kilo (2.2 pounds) before packaging.
So what does the Dragon
Boat signify?
Sail the
boat to Heaven. This boat is sailed by Seven Immortals. As legend has
it, they are supposed to guide you to your ambitions and goals.
With their support and backing, they say you are almost guaranteed of
success.
The
pervading legend is that the seven (some say eight) immortals were
originally sent down from the Heavens to assist people in their time of
need. Each of them were gifted with special abilities that set them
apart from the rest. They could only re-enter Heaven if they succeeded
in helping people achieve their ambitions
